Maria came to work at my house today and brought along a step-son who would be spending the afternoon there while she cleaned. At first, he barely said a word. Quiet, polite, and trying not to draw attention to himself.
But I noticed something almost immediately. Every time I crossed my legs, his eyes drifted toward my feet.
Every time I moved my toes or let my soles peek out from my sandals, I could feel his curiosity growing.
It was actually cute. He looked like someone who had never allowed himself to pay attention to that side of himself before. So I decided to have a little fun. While Maria focused on her work around the house, I casually stretched my legs out, letting him get a better look. Nothing obvious. Nothing anyone else would notice. Just enough to see how he reacted. And he reacted exactly the way I expected.
The more attention I gave my feet, the harder it became for him to look anywhere else. I could tell he was discovering something new about himself.
Not because I told him what to like. But because sometimes all it takes is the right woman, the right moment, and a pair of beautiful feet to make someone realize what has been hiding in plain sight all along.
By the end of the afternoon, his curiosity was impossible to miss.
And I had a feeling this would only be the beginning.
