Indosso un bellissimo abito e sono seduta sul divano. Chiamo il mio schiavo, voglio usarlo come calzante per indossare un paio di sandaletti. Lo schiavo è in difficoltà e non riesce a mettermi le scarpe correttamente. Non è adeguato per essere il mio calzante, l’unica cosa che può fare è lucidare le suole delle mie scarpe. Devono essere sempre perfettamente pulite. Lo schiavo tira fuori la lingua e lecca le suole delle mie scarpe dal tacco fino alla punta. Poi tiene ferma la lingua così posso strofinarle meglio e, quando sono ben pulite, le asciugo sulla sua schiena. Dopo aver adorato le mie scarpe, inginocchiato al mio cospetto, lo schiavo bacia le mie estremità mentre colpisco il suo sederino con una bacchetta. Deve essere sempre diligente e lustrare le mie suole con devozione. Questa l’unica cosa in cui può essermi utile.
