When I saw Anda for the first time, my heart trembled. Would such a petite, delicate, unexperienced girl be able to handle my strong hand, a bastinado?
My amazement was even greater when, after a few easy strokes (off-plan) with two tools – an electric cable and a classic bamboo, she chose… a bamboo stick! But she knew what she was doing!
Her result was a lot of strong bastinado strokes (which she counted herself, and scored only strong she was very honest about it), plus strokes on the toes, which she was also keen on.
